True in a sense. I don't know if/when diesels will become impractical to drive but since we are still a long way from commercial vehicles being electric, I imagine it will be a while. By that time mine will hopefully be off the radar and tax / mot exempt.
These lumps will also run on waste oil /veg which will be easier to come by than any synthetic / homebrew petrol substitute.
