Well still trying to get to the bottom of this,
Its fine driving up to about 50-55mph, then its starts the vibration and stays there right up to 90mph, I try not go that fast anymore, just in case something flies off.

As I noticed before the rear coupling seems to be very loose although it hasn't come totally adrift yet, looking in the parts book there appears to 2 types of couplings, one for auto gearbox which is damped, at about £460, and one for a manual gearbox which isn't damped at about 2/3rd of the price, so wondering if the undamped one would work, or will this cause another issue?

Does anybody have any access to Volvo techs to ask please.

Are there any good breakers that may help with a good low mileage used damped coupling?

my car has done in excess of 413800kms, the rest of it is fine..... Hopefully that hasn't jinks it!
