JohnL, I had a very similar issue on my XC90 D5 2011.
Vibrations on and off between 50-70 mph. Replaced Haldex fluid, wheel balance, wheel alignment...no difference.
In the end, the solution was 4 brand new tires. Previously I had some SLIGHTLY older tires on the rear. Once all tires were the same, all vibration issues disappeared for good!
