I dropped him a message via ebay yesterday and he assured me he would be coming tonight. Well its 7:15 PM and I've haven't heard a peep from him, and he hasn't shown up yet.

I'm annoyed on two counts - firstly because we're making plans around his supposed appearance, and secondly because my mother is in hospital and I've not gone in to see her on these days because he was supposed to show up. Due to covid, visiting is restricted to one person per bay on the ward, so you have to make an appointment beforehand - you can't just show up and go see someone any more.

If he doesn't show tonight (I'm not holding my breath) I'll offer it to the next in line - luckily I have had quite a number of expressions of interest, so lets see how genuine they were...

In the meantime, thats another months tax and insurance paid for... The way I'm feeling right now I'm tempted to park it up in my mum's garage and use it as a spares car. Grrrrrr

Feel for you mate I’ve recently had the same thing with our R, guy in fairness whacked a fairly substantial deposit on it, he was a collector and wanted it. Changed dates of collection, which like you I had to change my family plans to work around him, he changed them several times and in the end I said you can have the deposit back

I’ve now realised that it was in fact the wrong decision to even think about selling it, so actually the guy has done me a favour in messing me around

He was only going to mothball it anyway which would have been a shame. These aren’t time pieces they are meant to be used and abused.
