Looking at some Nokian zLine in 215/45 r17 for 17x7.5j comets. The UniRoyal rainsport 3's I fitted about a year ago have been unbeatable in the wet, good in the dry and very quiet/nothing untoward in the fuel/drag department.
But hell they have worn fast, helped in part due to front end problems that no garage can find, 4 sets of alignment done in the past 12-18 months and each one varies wildly to the next. I.e. today a local national just did it, then drove up the road to the other one and shows the front wheels as being 4 degree's out in toe to each other (massive).
Would get rainsports again, but I feel I'm doing exactly the same as I did last year which is fitting borderline winter, wet weather tyres at the beginning of the dry season.
