I'm assuming it doesn't affect the diesel versions although I believe these have problems with injectors?

1999-2001/2 I believe.

The earlier D5's (up to early 03) can have problems with the injectors, but Volvo will currently pay 50% of their cost to replace. Volvo won't contribute (or if they do only 5-10%) of the ETM issue so its swings and roundabouts!
