Part costs approx £40 and is held on by 1 screw (Torx 25 shape).

Many thanks for you input. The garage have told me that they have eliminated any problems with the sensor but havnt yet rectified the problem. They are now telling me that its the fuel pressure control unit??? They have had my car for a month now and still no cure.
