Same here regarding the Oil and location. Check for positive crankcase pressure (take oil filler cap off and check for air blowing out). Sounds like they may have fixed the leak and not the problem. My understanding is the 2014 D4 has a poorly designed middle piston ring which is supposed to allow the oil to drain away, but it gets clogged (possibly if anyone has ever added the 0W-30 oil instead of the 20 version). If it gets clogged, it means small amounts of oil get into the combustion chamber and that causes the extra pressure.

I've learned to live with just topping up .5L every 1000-1500 miles or so.

I also had the EMAP/EGR 'fix', I don't think they are linked to the oil leak issue, although that excess oil getting into the turbo/cooling system can't help with the EGR getting clogged.
