How can something with a drain plug be sealed at all, never mind for life?
I asked Bells about this as my first XC90 neared 100k miles and they told me the Volvo do not have an official recommendation either way on the matter, but they would be happy to to do a change if I so desired. I did desire, so I handed over my cash and the job was done. It's hardly work making a drama over it.
