D5244T injector leak
I have a 2010 XC90 D5 that had a leak from the top end around the swirl flap arm and at the back near the engine mount.
In order to get the injectors out I ended up having to unscrew the top of the injectors so I could use an injector remover. I was careful not to lose any parts and I immediately reassembled them one each one was removed.
Fast forward to putting everything back together and I know have the issue of the engine not starting and lots of diesel pooling in the top of the engine.
I made sure to remove the old washers from the block, and installed new washers for the injectors. I did reuse the clamps and the bolts, (I have the later style clamps that are bolts and not the hex screws).
I am thinking the issue might be that the o-rings inside the injectors might be the issue.
I am currently waiting on a call back from a local diesel specialist to see if i can get them to service the injectors, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what i might have missed?
Thanks
