Most if not all cars incorporate a water channel section as part of the wing top edge extended under the bonnet sides.
I can post a picture later of the rubber seals that I've used.

That’s the full extent of the picture , alas. I have seen them before and always the same,as if they were an item one could buy as an aftermarket fitting.
I look forward to seeing your seals. ( Something else to fabricate/ fit)😀
