Where to fit sanef tag/dart tag to xc90 with heated screen
Have 2017 XC90 T8 with heated windscreen. The Senef tag cannot be fitted in the mottle area as the sensors housing for the various road safety gadgets fills up the screen directly behind the rear view mirror. If you look closely at the windscreen you can see the heating elements within the glass. At the bottom right and bottom left of the windscreen there is a 'blank area' where there are no wires. If you have the plastic ticket holder you can affix your dart tag to it and will work no problem. When driving in Europe I fixed the Sanef tag to the passenger side of the windscreen in the bottom left hand corner just above (say 25mm above) where the windscreen is imprinted with the info about the air bags . I drove to Switzerland and back through France and the tag worked every time and saves considerable time at the toll barriers. . Hope this is of use.
