The underside of the 850 was covered in a thin film of mud giving it a brown monotone hue. It wasn't thick so can only presume the previous owner who was a security guard had driven through some building sites to get to his work

Finished cleaning the underside.

The only rust I found on the car was the towbar. I contemplated removing the it to paint but decided against as the thought of replacing broken bolts wasn't high on my list of repairs. All rust removed and a coat of black paint



Then cleaned the wheel arches, there seems to be some sort of underseal towards the inner reaches of the liners, does anyone know if this is how the 850 left the factory?















Then finished of by cleaning the tar off the sill covers and giving tham a polish
