I've recently wired up my 940 estate. Looking at the pin sizes in the connector I was worried that they may be a little on the small size and create a voltage drop to fridge. As I dont intend to get rid for a while I decided to cut off the connector and to solder the wires together and then I insulated them with heat shrink tubing.
.Therefore there is no need for expensive parts, no voltage drop and it makes a much neater job.
