I asked Volvo the same question when I ordered my car in Goteborg. This was the Rep's reply:".........As I have learnt from the factory installing LPG unit afterwards is not possible and Volvo does not produce LPG version for the XC90 due to lack of interest. There isn't enough demand from customers to put the LPG version on the production line........"
