If you can find a suitable Volvo first, you
may be be able to make arrangements with the seller to hold on to the car for a
short period, to allow you to sell yours.
If you find a suitable Volvo, and they won't hold it for you, you could look to sell yours, and before you commit to the Jag sale, check the Volvo is still available.
May not work out, and there's a few balls to juggle there, but just an idea to open up your options.
Still, good luck on a swap. It would make life easier.
