You don't say from whom you have purchased it. If it's a Volvo dealership and the car is being offered with a Volvo Selekt warranty, then if it were me, I would at least consider allowing them to attempt to repair it, assuming that I felt it was a good deal to start with and a car I really wanted.
Anyone else, or without a full Selekt warranty, and I'd take the money and walk away.
