I did my first really long journey recently after owning car since February 2020.

600 miles to Scotland, a lot of driving around the Highlands, and a 600 mile drive home.

Averaged 48mpg on journey up there and back down in comfort mode the whole time and sticking to the posted speed limits.

Driving around in Scotland however was a very different story. On a trip over the Cairngorms, I got 22mpg on a 90 mile drive! And the rest of the trip, driving around the Highlands, I never got better than 30mpg.

My old 3 litre Merc used to get better than that on the same trip, which makes me wonder if the S90 is just underpowered for the size/weight of car so working too hard all the time thus burning more fuel than it should. 2 litre engine on a car this size always struck me as small, but this just proves to me that it is.
