Yes, a slimmer belt was used on the pre-2010 models & the older tensioner was used... this wasn’t done under recall though (done from production). The older P2 models used a thicker aux belt.
Its also worth nothing that the P2 models had one long aux belt. My S80 P3 has an aux belt & a separate a/c belt.
