That is a very interesting conversion.

Talking about Jowetts, I once turned down the option to buy, in the late '60s, an up and running Javelin for £10. It was a very advanced car for it's time, but, being more accustomed to SV Fords at the time, the engineering complexity put me off!

There is also a chap local to me who still runs a 1947 Bradford van cum estate, that his Father bought brand new. Apparently, he passed his test in the car, in, IIRC, 1959. Now, at approaching 80, he still drives the car to local shows.

I don't recall seeing a Jupiter in the metal outside of a show or museum. They were a rarity even when new - today they are more like hens' teeth!
