I use the band type- metal belt with a screw down facility for tightening:~
Used on a 240 & V70 but it is a bit inch by inch motion because of room and angles- but it does the trick.
Quite often I use a rough sand paper under the belt (working sides out) to aid the grip- paper is also useful for a better grip if doing by hand.
