Can belts shrink if old and stored a long time? Should i try a genuine volvo belt. ? Advice most welcome
Hi,

Ignore classicswede, if the pin is in, it's retracted.

They're always a bit tight to get on, sometimes it helps spinning the crank by the crank bolt a bit.

If you can get the edge of it on, then spin the engine slowly and simultaneously guide the belt by pushing it towards the block just before the pulley.
