Morning All... Got the car back and it has come back with fault code P089500 " Shift time too Short" and also a fault on the differential module control pump. The recommended fix by my Indy is.. ATF change, software update, adaptions cleared, transmission teaching and if that doesn't work it'll be a transmission strip to investigate further. The car is 2.5 months into purchase and as this is the second major fault with 2 repairs being carried out on the first one I am within my rights to reject the car but this is a long process which will likely leave me without a car for weeks and possible out of pocket so I am potentially open to allowing another repair via the dealer.
Does anyone know the success rate of getting the transmission back to good working order using the above method or am I better off rejecting?
