And I've said it before and again based on bitter past experience- after you're done, and when pumping the pedal to centre the pads, DO NOT push it all the way to the floor- it will ruin the master cylinder seals.
..and good tip on releasing the bleed screws when pushing the pistons- I don't know if it messes up the master cylinder on old volvos or not- never had that problem on an old car, but it certainly makes the pistons go back in more easily- i tried it on a Fiat with the 'single huge' piston type caliper.

Personally, I don't like the anti-squeal shims- I tried mine with them, and they made the pedal feel mushy- like it had air in it. Removed the shims and the pedal was nice and firm.
