Fitted mine in about 15 minutes yesterday. The reason it took so long was that I was removing the Grom unit first and there was also a power supply to charge the phone that I had to relocate in the process. I was able to leave the mic lead though so that was just a case of plugging into the new kit.
What a difference! Steering controls work properly and there's no delay on the hands free so callers don't hear themselves a second later. That made it pretty unusable sadly. The Grom was secondhand and this vehicle was on its second head unit when I bought it so that might have been a factor.
Great result.
PS. As above - didn't disconnect battery.
