If you have bought a 2WD D4 then you have the 2.0 4 cyl engine that had the design flaw on the EGR cooler (seems they folded it over to fit it in and the 180 degree bend they introduced in the heat exchanger matrix gets clogged with soot over time) anyway long story short there was a software update related to this issue in addition to the physical work to rectify. I believe it allows the engine to reach full temp quicker and maybe even run leaner/hotter than before to discourage build up of soot in the cooler.
