Thanks to Percy Shaw and his cats eyes I was able to place the wheels on them as a physical/audible means of continuing....

The problem there is Volvo stopped fitting headlight wipers when car safety regulations meant you could no longer have glass headlights... (plastic headlights would scratch with wipers).
