Default Tyre choice (e.g. CrossClimate 2 or RainSport 5)

What's everyone using these days?

I know that the Uniroyal RainSport have had a lot of love on this forum in the past, and it's what I've used for a while now.

However, the new CrossClimate is now available in my size (205/50 R16), so I'm considering switching, primarily for a bit of peace of mind on the occasionally snowy days (I'm based in the south of Edinburgh).

I see there are some other All Season tyres (such as the Hankook Kinergy 4S2 and Goodyear Vector 4Seasons) that do better than the CrossClimate 2 in the wet, but these don't appear to be available in my size.

It's a shame the new CrossClimate 2 seems to be more snow orientated, rather than a summer tyre that's also good in the snow.

So, should I stick with the RainSport as it's mostly just wet in Scotland anyway, go for the CrossClimate 2, or something different? 🤔
