I would doubt. The problem with the AW55 was the solenoids were not properly designed and grit would build up on the tiny bushings that secure the moving rod so the rod would start moving slower in time, which in turn would start wearing other valve body components. Having the fluid changed would delay this issue. Generally speaking the rest of the transmission was solid.
