I'd leave it a few weeks to see if the error goes, you need to drive the car and then lock it and leave if for 8-12 hours during which time the BMS system recalculates the state of charge of the battery. If this doesn't sort itself out then try the BMS reset. It may also be your new battery isn't fully charged... if you have a battery charger I would give is a slow 24 hour charge to saturate it. Remember to connect the -ve charger lead to the car chassis, rather than direct to the battery.
