I'm not pro poly or pro genuine, just giving my input
I've been in the Land Rover scene for years and we nearly all fit poly bushes now to the older ones.
Mainly because the parts market these days is a gamble for OEM and the originals are SO expensive.
Slightly stiffer ride with poly bushes but it feels safer and more responsive.
Any way, the choice is yours but you don't need a press to remove a bush.
You can drill the rubber out using a standard hole cutter leaving the sleeve.
Take a standard cold chisel and cut an offset v in the blade.
Now place the bigger side on the sleeve and hit with a hammer.
It will act like a tin opener and cut through removing the sleeve.
Poly bushes then just push in by hand with silicone grease.
Not telling you what to do... Just information
I wanted poly bushes for the rear of my wife's 90 but couldn't find them for love not money......lol
