For once, someone is wanting a 440/460 Turbo with the intention of creating/maintaining a nice car without ripping out its entrails for a Clio/R5!
Anyways, I am hunting for an unmolested series one 440 or 460 Turbo. Like anyone, I would like one in the best condition and lowest mileage for the least money but I am a realist. Basically, I am looking for an easy project car that can be made smart, without the need to embark on a full rebuild.
A recent MoT failure would be fine or a mint car with scabby rear 'arches would be fine, at the right price. However, complete wrecks with trashed running gear, shredded interiors and mileages that makes anyone suspect that the previous owner was Captain J. Kirk need not apply.
My intentions are to keep the car standard and create a very nice "classic" 400 series. I am in no rush for the right car to come along but am keen to hear from anyone who has a suitable car for sale. Contact me on:
