Halfords messed my mates CV boot up by using the wrong sort of clip (slipped off, grease came out 24 hours after "repair")

Halfords are useless.
They’re okay to buy fluids from & other accessories like bulbs. Socket sets are decent too, but I wouldn’t let them touch my car.
