Hi, just went to car wash and this time my driver's foot well had water all over it. Luckily I have rubber mats which seemed to trap the water.

On removing the panel to right of screen (and my mistake earlier, you do not have to remove tweeter speaker as that is in the door!) Pulled the plugs out of the handle and with a 10mm socket undid the bolts top and bottom and removed the panel.

As in the nearside, the neoprene pipe no longer reached the rubber fitting that passes through the shell. Unfortunately I had no 6mm pipe so this time I cut the existing neoprene about 12cm short and inserted a short length of 8mm neoprene tube. I know this may cause a restriction in future but hey, it has lated 18 years! Easy to check.

See pic where you can see how much the pipe had shrunk.
