FOR SALE is my Volvo V50 T5 AWD, on an ’04 plate (registered in 2005).
At present it is intermittently giving me the ‘brake failure, pull over safely’ message which puts it into limp mode. I cured this temporarily by contact cleaning the CEM but it reoccurred. When it does permit me to drive it it is a lovely car- 220 bhp, six speed gearbox etc.
Anti skid service required warning always comes up, has done for years. Volsaa Derby don’t consider it an issue.
Body condition- a little tatty, some rusting on the front nearside wheel arch (which I have sanded back and daubed with zinc which happens to match the car’s silver colour! – ish), slight dent bottom of rear offisde door etc. Alloys scruffy too. Not therefore in showroom condition but could be brought back with a little tlc. Air con works but then gets hot (common magnetic clutch fault I guess)
