My local dealer is exemplary. When I bought my C70 I popped in for some basic servicing items and asked the parts chappie if he could tell me what the build spec was. He looked it up and read out the info for me and then when I paid for the bits and pieces handed me a print out of the build spec along with the invoice for the parts. No fuss, no drama. Had the same experience at my local BMW dealer when we bought 'er indoors Mini Cooper. Went in for an oil filter and came out with filter and build sheet. I find the parts chappies, generally, are very helpful.
