Hi - I have a thread here:
https://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showthread.php?t=336493
But in short - I've noticed when I take my foot off the accelerator at about 30mph, I can sometimes hear a metallic clicking - a little like a CV joint, but no vibrations through the steering wheel. The problem gets progressively worse as I continue to drive (taking my foot on/off the accelerator) to the point of quite severe vibrations through what feels to be drive system
I've taken car out of gear, it continues when coasting
Local garage couldn't replicate problem (it is intermittent) so changed Haldex oil, but on taking it home, the problem re-occurred
Question - I read of people taking the Haldex fuse out - what does this do, is it safe to take out and drive the car? I'm thinking that now I know the problem has not been cured by changing the oil - that if taking out the fuse safely disables Haldex, then I could do that to see if the problem still occurs - thoughts welcome
