It may be worth checking out with the Insurers:~
My car has been on S.O.R.N for a couple of months now whilst I carried out some jobs to include the screen- I never mentioned that the MOT had also run out (not purposely- just never thought it was required) they never asked just referred me direct to the screen company and we sorted the details between us.
