Volvo’s were decently priced up until the Covid stupidity started. I bought a 22 month old 65 plate V60 Cross Country Lux Nav for £22k with 18k on the clock. That was in 2017 and the prices held pretty much in the land of reality and then when Covid landed I watched the prices rise stupidly for 2nd hand motors. Then since then import duties etc have made Volvo an expensive motor to buy. That said, I’ve seen the prices starting to slide in S/H motors now so there’s hope yet.
As for new motors, Import tax, VAT and so on, it’s the usual tax us to death thing.
