That's an easy one for you RT. Offer yours to the OP for the final bid price, of the current eBay listing, less £25. You'd have to drop eBay more than £25 in fees anyway. 23% when I last looked.
That's a deal where the OP gets to pay less than on eBay, and you get a little more than had you sold via eBay. If the OP is realistic about what he'll need to pay, the only loser is eBay.
