When he put it in to a Volvo specialist they suggested the bushes on the back I believe there are some arms that can't be seen on the MOT that may be worn and causing the issue
with regards the struts I think he would like to keep them electric but if they were converted does the ECU have to be programmed to tell the car that they aren't there?
