"Grandma" here: I just rotated my tires; bought 'em 9K ago. I found one piece of metal in one tire.
The time to do my brakes is approaching. I've only the parking shoes left to buy.
Front struts, turn front rotors, clean and lube brake parts, replace all pads and shoes, replace rear rotors and install the genuine Volvo mud flaps. It'll be a day's work.
Today's rotation showed me the meth heads used ultimate pneumatic tool power when reinstalling my wheels. Damn fools.
It's always a good idea to check your lugs after a tire purchase (or any work where the wheels are removed). I wouldn't've wanted to learn how hard they were put on by changing a tire in an emergency situation.
Grandma out.
