The old mini together with volvos up to 1974 are a classic case of valves seating directly on the cast iron head , They have had Unleaded for some decades now so most will have had new seats by now if they do any kind of mileage . Just make sure the rubber hoses are renewed with current hose to be safe . Alloy heads from the period will be ok as they came with good quality valve seats to start with .
