I don’t think you are mad buying a V70 T5 I just think you must be hugely wealthy and a little silly to pay that for something with those miles on the clock. For an extra 2-3k you would get an ‘R’ with well under half the miles and 4K should buy you a standard T5 with under 100k in that condition.
You will find any bushings, bearings and such like at the end of their life.
That to me is a £500 car (which as others have said was on the cheap side admitidly) that has been highly polished and offered for sale a year later.
Under no circumstances would I touch a used LPG conversion either.
A friend of mine had a recent purchase of a vehicle similar to that (he paid 1k for it however). He ran it for 6 months and a few k at which point the steering rack seas failed. The cost was very high and he scrapped it.
My hat said, I can see it looks clean and if everything is done then perhaps it’s a case of judging on condition rather than miles. I just think for 3-4K you could buy another cherished one with 100k on the clock where it’s a lot fresher. If you don’t buy that I don’t see it selling for that.
