Despite the age of your new beasty, it has a bonded screen; let us hope that it is not suffering from rot in the aperture, cos that means a screen out job.
The stainless trim is held on by clips bonded under the screen. These usually rot thereby needing replacement when the screen comes out; even if they haven't rotted the buggers usually snap when trying to lever the trim away from the screen.
Conversely, the rear screen is roped in using the rubber seal; the trim on that is the very devil to replace, in fact I gave up trying and have a nice, uncluttered look to my rear screen!
