A very similar situation here, too.
I'll do all mechanical jobs which don't require engine or gearbox removal (due to a lack of facilities, rather than ability). I've never got into bodywork repairs - spraying outdoors isn't recommended!
Also, as I've got older, those 'helpful mates' from my youth have disappeared - and my OH sadly shows no interest in assisting whatsoever. Changing spouse would be a bit drastic...
Working outdoors is also a problem. I've lost count of the times when the weather has been fine during the working week - only to pee it down at the weekend
Thankfully, having worked all my life in 'high-tech' electronics, the electrical systems on cars pose no problem
