Certainly the complexity doesn't help. I'm pretty comfortable with the smartphone based apps I've used in the past (Carly and a couple of others) and I might have a look for something similar for the V70. I used a laptop-based package on the BMW for a while, but for my purposes I found the Carly app very easy to use.
If I had access to a pit or a lift I'd be tempted to do more in the way of preventative maintenance perhaps - if there were a few more hours in the day!
