Just to update, took the car for a decent run last night,checked the oil showing overfill- switched off then waited 20 minutes- checked oil indication with the engine switched off and of course no level detected, turned engine on then the level rose to a ‘normal’ just below full...
I’m now wondering if the workshop reset it at all after the work earlier in the year? I don’t recall checking it since ( I don’t generally unless a warning shows )
