I stumbled across this thread, and it turns out, this is now my car. Strangest of all, the car now resides in the United States. I spent about six months living in St. Andrews, Scotland earlier this year, and bought this car from a man near Dunfermline. I couldn't bear to part with it, so shipped it to the States.

I've put about 7000 miles on the car, and it's been running fine, until lately, when I had to replace the intake manifold gasket, and replace the water pump. Got that fixed, but now the carburetor is acting up (leaking), and stalling a lot when cold.

The car is being garaged for the winter, so I will take the carb off and see if I can address the problems. Otherwise, I am going to replace the Pierburg 175CD2 on the car with a Weber 32/36.

Trying to post a picture, but having difficulty.
