I did them myself, on the drive, using one of the "new" removal tools (just over £100, but I then sold it on for £70). It was definitely possible to do as a DIYer and I would be much faster next time, but I reckon it's a one day job for both sides if all goes well. Lining it all up for refitting is the tricky bit - and ensuring you lift the car high enough to get the arm to drop down far enough to be below the sill.
